Type 56M

A throwback to the original “chicom” AK chest rig, our Type 56M chest rig provides state-of-the-art durability and versatility while maintaining the simplicity of the legendary chicom chest rig.  Highly durable, double layered, 500D Cordura construction makes the Type 56M Chest Rig lighter, stronger and more water-resistant than the original. Semi ridged, full-length pockets make for snag free drawing and reindexing of magazines. The flaps are secured using Velcro hook and loop for fast access to those mags in high stress situations. While originally designed for 7.62x39 AK magazines, the Type 56M carries other magazines such as for the Ak74 and AR15 very nicely.  The Type 56M is also velcro backed and compatable with all dangler style pouches.
